Wet and windy!

We have some budding actors/actresses here in Woodpeckers. The children loved acting out the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They used adjectives to describe Goldilocks and the word 'because' to give reasons for their ideas. 

In maths this week we began addition and subtraction fact families, in science the children learnt about the different food types; protein, carbohydrates, dairy etc. This linked well with the lovely harvest assembly this morning, thank you for all your generosity. 

The focus in gymnastics was being able to make different shapes with their body. Lots of very flexible children!

Despite the wet and windy weather the children continued to be excited about their learning and interested in forest school.
