Water everywhere!

Wessex Water came to visit this week and challenged the children to save water in every day life; have a shower instead of a bath, use rain water to water the plants instead of the hose etc!

I was really impressed with the lovely stories the children produced based on 'The Dragon Machine' and they have now started their new Literacy book 'The Great Fire of London' which is perfect as it links to our topic work too!

Time has started in maths; o clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past which will include solving problems related to this aswell.

They were keen to look at their science investigations and considered why the plants had or had not grown. The challenge was to write up their results scientifically.
