Spring Has Sprung

The sun has finally been shining and Swallow's have had the chance to do some fantastic outside learning!

Their PE focus this half term is athletics and this week they were doing hurdles. They split into two teams and created their own heats for a competition. I was very impressed to see how encouraging, supportive and enthusiastic everybody was. They created a fantastic competition whilst demonstrating some amazing sportsmanship skills. I didn't realise we had such speedy children in our class!

With the sun shining we thought what better place to have our art lesson than the quiet area. They took their sketch books outside and sketched some beautiful daffodils that have bloomed. I was impressed by their use of different tones and shading to give their sketches more definition. These sketches will be on display next week!

Fingers crossed this beautiful weather stays.
