Science Day

Woodpeckers had a great science day on Friday 15th March. They followed an online link to the Natural History Museum in London and learnt about climate change and the impact that it can have. They then learnt about modern day dinosaurs (birds) and we were surprised at how many birds they knew! During the day they took part in many quizzes and could see what other school children had said. They then made different birds using Lego and as you can see, they are amazing! As well as this they had an investigation looking at a range of feathers, initially observing them and then investigating what happens when they have oil spilt on them, which was led by our parent governor and the School Society Members.
