Kingfishers w/c 20/3/21

We had a lovely week this week and made the most of the beautiful sunshine!

In English we have been continuing our story "The lion and the unicorn" and learning about what life was like for children in WW2. In Guided Reading we have been learning about lighthouses and their features/functions.

In Maths we have continued our learning on decimals.

For Science this week we have been learning about electrical circuits and we have used what we have learnt to create our very own functional lighthouses.  

During Art we were inspired by the beautiful daffodils around the school and used them to create still-life sketches in our art books.
