In the samba groove!
We had samba last Friday and this Monday, and you can tell the children are really improving!
Last Friday they came up with their own samba groove based on earthquakes and volcanoes and the children came up with some amazing rhythms. They all are getting the hang of playing together and also separately, always making sure to keep an eye on Harry so they know what to do next.
In the lesson on Monday Harry taught them how to read some of the musical notes which they then had a go at practicing while performing as a whole. They also learnt the musical terms forte and pianissimo. (Loud and very quiet!)
If you hear your children singing or playing 'lemonade tea, coca cola tea' or other random kinds of places or drinks then that is from their samba lessons!
I can't wait for you to see them perform at the end of the year!
