Dinosaur samba

This week we have been carrying on our fossil theme by creating art based around our fossil finds on our trip last week. The children have really enjoyed making them and can't wait to show them to you when you hopefully come and visit our fossil 'museum'!

In English the children have been working hard at creating their own land inspired by the civilisation in Weslandia. They have been using descriptive language and words ending in -ous and -ation to create brochure inviting people to come and visit.

In maths we have been continuing our work on money and focusing on how to solve problems to do with money. 

The children have practised how to run over hurdles in our PE sessions, preparing for sports day!

In samba, the children made up their own rhythms inspired by our fossils topic and laid them over each other on the different instruments and it sounded great! They will be performing this at the end of the year.
