Blackbirds 6th May

It was wonderful to see so many Blackbirds able to attend the maypole dancing on Monday. You all did a fantastic job!

We arrived back into school on Tuesday to some new class members. We were giving some tadpoles to look after. The Blackbirds have really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a frog and observing the changes.

In maths we have been working with numbers to 20 and exploring 1 less. We also used a 10 frame outside and worked together to fill it with the correct number of children that Mrs Hockham said.

We had a lot of fun exploring with clay in our outside area and made a whole range of different creations including wands, people and tractors!

This week in phonics we continue to work on cvcc words and during literacy we have continued our work on the book Weirdo.
