Blackbirds 4th March
It has been a fun packed week of pancakes and books. We started the week reading the story of Mr Wolf's Pancakes. On Tuesday we made pancakes and tasted a selection of pancakes with different filling. We have also been writing about how we made them and which pancakes were our favourite. We talked about the significance of Shro
ve Tuesday and Ash Wednesday for Christians.
In maths this week we have been working on subtraction with our number bonds to 10. We have been singing songs, using 10 frames and part part whole.
During phonics this week we have been practising our previously learnt diagraphs and trigraphs.
Thursday saw us all dressed up for World Book Day. Everyone looked amazing and we enjoyed sharing our favourite stories with our friends.
