A great start!
Welcome to Year 2.
I have been really impressed with the children so far; I know the Autumn term is always a tiring one for them, as after a long break they are busy learning new routines and adjusting to expectations in their new class. However, they should be proud of themselves as they have learnt a lot in a short space of time.
In english this week they have enjoyed learning facts about Wolves. Our history topic has definitely interested them and we have looked at photos of seasides from the past and compared them to seasides nowadays.
A staff member from Dogs Trust came to visit us today. The children should be able to share the five rules of keeping a dog happy with you. So many people in the world own a dog and it is important for everyone to be safe around them.
A lovely end to the week was forest school; the sun shone for us and the children had a lot of fun.
