This week in maths year 4 have been learning about using different strategies to solve problems while the year 3's have been learning how to add and subtract using the formal written method.

In English, we have all been learning about Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold and Kingfishers wrote a book review detailing their opinions about the book. They have all really enjoyed the book so far!

Kingfishers have also been really enjoying reading and answering questions about the gruesome fairy tale Zombierella.

We also made origami butterflies for our reading display as a symbol of reading setting our imaginations free!
