We have finished and summarised Shackleton's Journey to the Antarctic and are just about to start writing our newspaper article on it. The children have all been shocked at the 2 year journey of this perilous expedition and amazed that they all survived!
We have been measuring mass in year 3 and learning about decimals in year 4.
In science we tried and failed to make ice-cream but the children were able to understand what we needed to change in order to successfully make ice-cream next time!
The children have also been really excited to be getting back into Samba too and have shown good listening skills while trying out the different instruments. They're all doing so well at learning to keep a pulse, repeat beats and patterns, and 'groove' together!
