A MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER

At Sturminster Marshall First School we are committed to do the best for you and your child. Our aim is to create a happy and secure environment, where your child is encouraged to achieve his or her potential.

We value our village school and all the people connected with it and we recognise that the school has an important part to play in the community, where we benefit from the goodwill and support of the parents and village residents. We are also fortunate in having a pre-school on site, creating an easy transition into school which enables children to settle quickly and build on the learning that has already taken place in their pre-school years.

Communication is key to our success, we aim to make the school as accessible as possible therefore this website is intended to be a 'one stop shop' for everything school related, providing up to date information on what exciting events are taking place.  We also have a school App and a Twitter account which can be accessed via the home page.

If you would like to visit the school or require more detailed information on any points raised, please contact me, as it is important to discuss anything which may affect your child's progress in school.

Enjoy our school with us.

Yours sincerely

Mr A Joyce
